The specific departure time will be adjusted based on seasonal daylight changes, astronomical conditions on the night, and operational arrangements. The following times are for reference only. ▲ Important Travel Notes (Please Read Carefully) Please arrive at the designated check-in location 5-10 minutes early. You must drive yourself to the stargazing campsite. The campsite is approximately a 7-minute drive from Tekapo town center via State Highway 8, and walking is not recommended. If you don't have a vehicle or cannot arrange your own transportation, please contact our customer support in advance to inquire about and book paid shuttle services. Failure to arrive independently or arrange shuttle services beforehand may affect your participation in the itinerary. We appreciate your understanding.

▲ Weather Cancellation Policy The stargazing activity is subject to cancellation based on the weather and on-site conditions of the day. In case of snowfall, ice, rain, excessive cloud cover, extreme weather, or other safety concerns, the activity may be canceled. If cancellation is necessary, we will strive to notify you approximately 1 hour in advance. However, due to sudden weather changes, cancellation may occur close to the departure time, and your understanding is appreciated. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be provided, or a free reschedule can be arranged if spots are available. The final decision on cancellation will be made by the operations team based on safety and operational conditions.

▲ [Optional English-speaking guide---Silver River Stargazing] Join our 75-minute stargazing adventure! For at least 60 minutes, you'll gaze at the stars under the guidance of an experienced guide. Using a powerful 14-inch telescope, we'll show you breathtaking views of various deep-sky objects. At the end of the tour, the guide will take a group photo under the stars (weather permitting) to capture this perfect moment. Plus, we have a special gift for you! Within 48 hours, we'll upload the photos to our public Flickr site and email them to you. Limited to 10 people per group, and cozy down jackets are available for your comfort.
