I hired a car for the day to visit Pingyao and Qiao Courtyard. Car was good condition and driver was safe. Timing was very flexible which was helpful. Driver also gave us a lot of tips on the way. All in all highly recommended as a convenient option if you are in Taiyuan.★

Very good experience, the Chinese tour guide is very responsible for the arrangements throughout the trip, and the shops that cooperated are very good. The precautions are explained very comprehensively, and the prices are reasonable. They will not cheat people casually. It is trustworthy.★

I don't think a lot of time is taken up by the various product offerings, and you're rushing around Europe, from honey producers to coconut candy makers (which were delicious, by the way). It's all included in the tour, and the boat rides are wonderful, very authentic and beautiful on the river. But I was quite surprised by how meager the lunch was, to be honest. I bought a ticket with a six-course lunch, which sounds substantial, but in reality it was rice, a tiny pot of chicken, an omelet, soup (more like broth), and a slice of watermelon. Honestly, it looked ridiculous. They keep various animals on the restaurant grounds, and the crocodiles were very impressive. Overall, I couldn't fault it, everything was as advertised, but with some caveats: keep in mind that the trip is very exhausting, lasting about 9 hours in total.
