Traveling alone, I booked a day trip to Kyoto departing from Osaka. 😆 Our guide, ViVi, was very friendly and attentive, providing excellent explanations in both Chinese and English. There was plenty of time for sightseeing, making it a very fulfilling day. I have wonderful memories of Kyoto. 😊 The matcha ice cream 🍦 was so delicious! 🤤

We booked a Kyoto tour for our first family trip to Osaka (couple, 6 and 1 year old). We had a hard time deciding on a Kyoto trip because we have a child, but we are satisfied. They are considerate of our children, and more than anything, they shared information and tips that we might not know about Japan, and they even shared the history of the places we visited. It was great that my child was able to learn about history as well. They shared tips that other tourists might not know, so when we went to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, we were able to make a wish and try some food. They also shared Japanese history that we might not normally know. Thank you so much. I am even more grateful for the restaurant recommendations.
Reviews: Kyoto: Insider Sake Brewery Tour with Sake and Food Pairing
Guest User2026-01-18
It was EXCELLENT, The first guide told us the history of the distillery as well as the different methods used to make sake, and the second guide deepened our knowledge by helping us discover its characteristics and flavors while tasting sake paired with food. It was truly a wonderful experience—really recommended if you want to better understand the sakes offered in restaurants and shops. Thanks you for the two guides for the discovery.

Reviews: Kyoto & Nara & Uji World Heritage Day Tour: Nara Park & Fushimi Inari & Byodoin & Matcha Street
Guest User2025-12-16
Our tour guide was incredibly friendly and talkative! He shared a lot of travel tips with us, and the whole experience was truly wonderful because of him 👍 In Nara, we saw baby deer and their mothers, bought a deer-shaped piggy bank, and won some Demon Slayer gashapon toys; in Uji, we ate at Ito Kyuemon and bought everything we'd regretted not getting before; at Fushimi Inari, we bought a limited-edition Chiikawa, the thousand torii gates were beautiful, and the food stalls near the entrance smelled amazing—remember to bring plenty of cash! This itinerary might have been better if we had started from Kyoto.
