Excellent tour, would thoroughly recommend. The tour guide was extremely informative and entertaining, and was obviously very passionate about the history and evolution of his home town. Matera is astonishing - one of a kind, a place not to be missed on any tour of Puglia.

Great, informative tour. We did it in Italian as the English version wouldโ€™ve been 2x more expensive. My husband doesnโ€™t speak Italian so didnโ€™t understand a word LOL but I translated for him here and there. The guide also recommended a restaurant to us (La grotta del gusto) that I was a bit skeptical about as normally guides are affiliated with these kinds of meh places, but eventually we ate there as they serve traditional dishes and it was amazing too.

It was very good to be able to enjoy it without walking at the key points of Matera, which has many slopes. It was good to use it because I was able to go sightseeing without any pain even in my poor family. Matera was better than originally expected, the driver's explanation was easy to understand, and it was very good to understand not only the scenery of Matera but also the history. I recommend it!
