Everything was just great. We were picked up from the hotel on time. The itinerary was wonderful. The tour guide, boat captain, and his assistant were great. They showed us everything and told us where the best snorkeling spots were. The fruit presentation was fantastic. The show with the glowing plankton was amazing. They clearly work hard and do a fantastic job.

Overall impressions are a 4 out of 5. But that's because of the weather. There was wind and waves. I was lucky I brought swimming goggles—they're a must-have accessory. Drops of water constantly get in my eyes. We mostly drove up to the island, and the guide took a few photos. Taking photos myself is difficult; my phone is in the glove compartment, so it's awkward to get it out every time. I took a 1630cc one; there's no point in taking more than that, it's more than powerful enough. Overall, the experience is positive, I recommend it.

The tour was well organized! Six of us arrived, and a guide was with us the entire way! We enjoyed the tour.
Reviews: From Phuket or Khao Lak: Early Bird Phi Phi Islands Maya Bay Tour with Bamboo Island and Snorkel
Guest User2025-11-10
The excursion was superbly organized; pick-up and drop-off went perfectly (on time), no detours. The excursion matched the description exactly. Bamboo Island is beautiful, but unfortunately overcrowded with tourists; the swimming stops are therefore a 'mandatory' part, but you don't have to go just for them. The speedboat ride is a great experience, and being at Maya Beach early in the morning is the only way to go. And on Phi Phi, definitely make the effort to hike to Viewpoints 1 and 2 – you'll be rewarded with beautiful views (entrance fee of 50 baht is included with the tour operator). Snacks and drinks are readily available on the boat (fruit, cookies, water, soft drinks); only the food (breakfast: overcrowded; lunch: watery curries and spaghetti – not very authentic) could use a little more attention…
