We really enjoyed the tour. We experienced all weather but it did not spoil the day. Nice group of 15 with a great guide.

Rally unique and fun experience! Bojan was a great guide. Saw parts of the fortress that you definitely would not see otherwise, you likely wouldn’t even know they exist! Plus you a ton of history about Serbia and see a lot of artifacts. I highly recommend this tour. Even (or especially) when it’s hot. The respite in the tunnels is so beneficial and needed when it’s hot outside. The wine at the end is a nice little touch at a really nice restaurant by the river.
Reviews: Private Day Tour to Fruska Gora Monasteries, Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad

We took the 8 hour day trip to Novi Sad, stopping at Krusedol Monastery and Sremski Karlovci operated by Victor Tours. The guide, Milicha, was very good and knowledgeable, and spoke very good English (not common in many European countries). Pick-up at the hotel was right on schedule and so was the drop-off. Krusedol Monastery was interesting, especially the iconography inside the church. The central square at Sremski Karlovci is great - the churches, the school, the old buildings, and the wine tasting (sweet dessert wines) that was part of the tour. On we went to the Novi Sad fortress - a long uphill haul - with nice views of the Sava River and the town. The main square in Novi Sad and the pedestrian street are very nice. The tour cost about $80 and well worth it.

The driver was very fluent in English and knowledgeable. It was a very hot day but he tried his best to let us wait in the shad while he went to pick up the car in the sun. He found us seats in the train and told us to walk around all cars since each car was different. Did not see many people walking around so I guess a lot of people may did not know about it. After the train ride, we went to a nice restaurant and had some tasty roasted lamb.

Myself and two friends had one full day in Serbia to spend at our leisure before starting a tour through Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia. This tour caught our attention. We thought it would be interesting to explore Serbia outside of the populated tourist attractions. It was absolutely fabulous. Nina and Ranko picked us up at our hotel. Nina was in the lobby waiting for us. Ranko waiting in the van outside. Nina was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Ranko did not speak much English but still projected kindness. Ranko packed and handed out dog treats to many of the street dogs we encountered along our journey. This alone gives him a rating of a 10+++ in our book. During our drive we passed through many villages where Nina shared the traditions of the local people. Our first stop was the Montessori. Nina provided us with the culture and historical facts about the Montessori. We then visited and toured the largest cave system in Serbia. It that took us 80 meters below sea level. Next was a beautiful waterfall. We had an added bonus of by coincidence meeting a famous Serbian Actor who just happened to be at the waterfall filming at the same time we were there. Our last stop was to a trout farm. In that area there was a cave that had the bluest of blue water. As our tour concluded we had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the river. We all chose to have trout at the recommendation of Nina. The trout was from the trout farm we had just visited. The meal was delicious. There are beautiful people in the world who may only be part of your life for a brief moment but impacted you and you will always remember them. Nina and Ranko are two of these people. Myself and my friends highly recommend this tour. I hope any one reading this review and decides to book this tour also has the pleasure of getting Nina and Ranko as their guide and driver. This was our favorite day while visiting Serbia.
