Fabulous trip with very knowledgeable and personable guide, Magali. By going on a tour you learn so much more about the history and come out with a better understanding of what you are seeing. The personal stories about individuals were a highlight and visiting some places off the beaten track gave so much more context. Highly recommend Orpheus Tours.

Enzo, our guide, was truly amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Canadian invasion at Juno beach. He emanated genuine passion and admiration for what the Canadian soldiers were able to accomplish. He read a letter to us that a Canadian soldier had written to his mother before going to battle. For me, the cemetery visit and the visit to the beach were the highlights. Every Canadian should go on this tour.

We started on time with our small group and Christophe our guide. The drive is not ahort but the countryside was pleasing and Christophe commented on points of interest along the way. The actual touring of the beaches and a museum was excellent. Christophe used visual aids to make the battles easily comprehensible and despite some rain we were able to get a good look at many of the most important sites.

Really good tour!! Loved going to Point Du Hoc. I do wish we were able to stay at the lunch spot for longer. I feel like I had to choose to either eat or explore gold beach.


