Traveling solo in Dunhuang during the off-season: I had the entire landscape to myself and an amazing driver!
I went to Dunhuang alone during the off-season, booking a day trip to Yumenguan and Yangguan via Ctrip. I avoided the crowds and enjoyed the peace and quiet – it was fantastic!
I was incredibly lucky to meet Driver Gao. He was waiting for me at the agreed-upon location well in advance. Knowing I had to catch a train in the afternoon, he meticulously planned the entire route and time for me, ensuring I was on time. He proactively explained everything we saw along the way and even showed me a new highway. He had fruit in his car, and when I felt a little embarrassed to eat it, he reminded me to pack some.
For lunch, he took me to eat braised mutton noodles – absolutely delicious! During our chat, he talked about grape cultivation in Yangguan Town, mentioning that the market was bad this year and grapes were hard to sell – very honest indeed. Meeting such a reliable driver while traveling solo was so reassuring. I have to give a huge shout-out to Driver Wang's team and Driver Gao! Solo travelers, go for it!★

Photographer, the ordering staff service is very good, the photos taken are beautiful, the communication with the photographer is very pleasant, and the photo technology is good. The photo is handed in in time, and there is also a small video, thank you very much.
