Reviews: From Delhi: Taj Mahal Sunrise, Agra Fort & Baby Taj Private Day Tour by Car

After accepting the order, someone contacted me and provided the driver's contact information. The driver arrived at the hotel on time. This trip had no group bookings; it was a dedicated driver and one-on-one guide service. The driver picked me up and dropped me off at each attraction and then took me directly back to my hotel in Delhi. The weather was nice, with a high of 26 degrees Celsius. My guide was a 57-year-old local man who had been doing this for thirty years. I asked him how many people he was guiding that day, and he said just me, so I had a dedicated guide. His accent wasn't too heavy; I could understand most of the time, except for a few names. He had a slight leg disability and said we didn't need to rush through the sights; he would explain things slowly and guide me at my own pace, very patiently. He told me to use a translation app if I didn't understand something. I tried recording a few sentences with the translation app, and the machine actually understood what he was saying. We were required to wear shoe covers when entering the interior of the building—very hygienic, I'd never encountered that before. We also had to wear them at the smaller Taj Mahal later. The next stop was Aqola Fort, a palace-like site. Baby Taj, commonly known as the Little Taj Mahal, is actually older and a family burial ground. After the tour, our guide took me to a so-called international restaurant where European tourists were dining. The prices were reasonable. He also took me to marble crafts and silk fabric shops, all run by his acquaintances. I firmly refused to buy anything, and they didn't pressure me. Overall, it was a unique travel experience.

Sameer is an outstanding guide. extremely knowledgeable, clear in his explanations, and very easy to follow throughout the experience. His instructions were well-structured and delivered in a calm, confident manner, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. What really sets Sameer apart is his professionalism and attention to detail. He is highly informative, patient, and always willing to answer questions, making sure everyone feels comfortable and engaged. His local knowledge added great value and gave deeper insight into Delhi beyond the usual tourist perspective. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone visiting Delhi. If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and genuinely helpful guide, Sameer is absolutely the person to go with.

Gurvinder Singh was our guide and he did a good job finding the items on my list. He made sure we were buing quality goods. He did take us to a rug showroom, which wasn't something I was looking for, I suspect he gets a commission there.
Reviews: Superfast Train Tour from Delhi: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Baby Taj
Guest User2025-12-05
Booking this tour by superfast train (Gatimaan Express) was a fantastic decision and truly the most comfortable way to travel from Delhi to Agra. The train ride was smooth, with a delicious breakfast served on board. The coordination was flawless from start to finish; our driver in Delhi was punctual and helped us to the station, and upon arrival in Agra, our driver dilbagh were waiting for us right at the platform for a VIP welcome. Having a private car in Agra allowed us to explore at our own pace, and hilal was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great history and taking perfect photos at the Taj Mahal. After a wonderful lunch and a visit to Agra Fort, we were dropped back for a relaxing train journey home with dinner included. This tour perfectly combines the speed of the train with the luxury of a private car HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
