Reviews: Maui: Halfway to Hana Black Sand Beach & Turtles Tour

It was fine. Lots of driving on mountainous switchbacks, so if that will make you car sick, this wouldn’t be for you. We were in an 8 pax van, and for our trip it was 5 plus the driver. If we’d had another 2 pax, we would’ve been smooshed in uncomfortably. Driver talked incessantly, some helpful, some just chatter. The black sand beach is a really rocky area that isn’t conducive for getting in the water. All the stops were good, just not amazing. I am not at all unhappy to do the partial trip to Hanna because this shows you everything without it being too long of a day.★

The trip was amazing!! It was our first time on the road to Hana and we didn’t want to do it on our own. Marty was experienced, hospitable, informative and very focused on us having a good time. He was very accommodating and we felt very safe with him. Everything was so beautiful!!! We are so glad we went with Aloha Eco Adventures.★

This trip was the best boat excursion we have ever been on. The staff, the service, the experience, the food! all excellent. Well worth the price. The boat is in excellent condition, clean and well kept. Every member of the staff was knowledgeable, pleasant and enjoying their work. The snorkeling at Molokini is beautiful and even though there are many tours at the crater, the pride of Maui team managed or group and our space well and gave us the feeling we had it all to ourselves. The trip to turtle town was just as wonderful we saw many turtles and the bonus whale watching made the trip perfect. My only complaint is the driving directions coming from Lahaina lead you to the wrong side of the pier. We got there on time but needed to ask for directions.
