Duarte was an absolutely amazing guide, made the entire experience feel like travelling with a group of friends. All of the stops had a purpose in order to experience different sides of Sintra. He always took time to show us a few hidden spots off the beaten path that no other tourists were. The lunch was absolutely delicious and an experience in itself, but he can surprise you with all that it entails. We loved the short stop at the beach seeing the large waves off the coast. Duarte made sure to include a number of other small surprises throughout the tour that made everything feel even more unique and local. I can promise you, no other tours will give you these types of experiences! My wife and I had an amazing time and would do it again. Thank you Duarte!★

Our guide, Diogo, was the absolute best! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations for places to eat and helped us understand the culture of Sintra and Cascais as well as the language. He had a great sense of humor and it was easy to tell he loves his job and his country!★

Unfortunately, the guide was changed at the last minute because the Italian one had an unexpected issue. The Portuguese guide (Mike/Miguel) did his utmost to ensure we understood all the explanations provided during the excursion. Clearly, an Italian-speaking guide would have made everything much easier, but his dedication made up for it. His willingness to stop at multiple points along the way was also greatly appreciated. The van was very comfortable, as was the meeting point right outside our door.
