Reviews: Da Nang "The Ao Dai" Show: Timeless Vietnamese Elegance
Guest User2026-01-18
My wife thoroughly enjoyed the show declaring that it 'made the holiday' for her!. She loved the beautiful colourful costumes. For me, dragged along to please her, I was impressed with the organisation and the service - our great seats appeared to have been allocated and kept despite us arriving only 5 minutes before the show started. The narrative of the show was displayed at either side of the stage in English enabling those less absorbed in the spectacle to understand what was going on. Also what bloke is going to complain about watching scores of attractive women dance! - having said that, my wife commented that the vietnamese men were very handsome but I pointed out that nobody wants to watch a load of ugly people perform :-). It was an hour very well spent, we were both glad we went.

Reviews: Discover Hue Imperial City: Full-Day Guided Group Tour Depart from Da Nang or Hoi An
Guest User2025-09-22
The itinerary, lunch, and tour guide were all fine, but the attractions in Hue were a bit lacking. The Imperial City wasn't even a poor man's version of the Forbidden City. Maybe that's just how big Vietnam is.

I enjoyed the tour. Be sure to bring warm clothes. The risk of fog and rain is high.
Reviews: Hue city Full-Day Group Tour from Da Nang or Hoi An | Hue Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb

I really enjoyed the small group, which was very consistent and didn't linger. Our guide, Vi, spoke very good English and was very informative. We didn't quite have enough time in the imperial palace; I would have liked more free time. The drive was long, plus we were picked up later than scheduled and arrived a little early, which made it feel like we didn't have enough time in Hue itself. Everything else was wonderful.
