Dan Oasis Hotel and Apartment

Da Nang|2.7km from Lady Buddha
I booked this room for the balcony and that did not disappoint. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but I’m afraid that’s where it ends. The view was great but be warned the glazing is very thin and the road below very busy and noisy. The bathroom needed a proper clean especially the door, and when we pulled the curtains the walls behind were damp and peeling. The top floor restaurant / seating area was closed off and out of use. The most disappointing thing was the breakfast. Frankly we gave up and ate else where. You get one drink - juice or coffee but the coffee was made with camp liquid coffee, tepid water and condensed milk. No other milk was available. Staff were pleasant and I felt for the member of staff who had to explain if we wanted a second drink we would have to pay, luckily it was so bad we didn’t want any more. We made our own drinks in our room as they couldn’t even manage a cup of boiling water. I always carry my trusty travel kettle and decent coffee with us, which luckily comes with cups as they even try to charge you for the use of a cup and saucer in your room 🥴!! and don’t expect any complimentary coffee / tea sachets in your room or daily water. Extraordinary lack of hospitality !! Breakfast was extremely poor, concrete fried eggs made ages ago with heavily processed white sliced bread curling at the edges. No butter. No fruit - the only hotel we visited in all our time in Vietnam with no fruit at breakfast !! Frankly our previous hotel at a 1/3 of the price was far superior. I can’t give it less than 3 because as I say the bed was comfy, the room spacious and the view great.

Son Tra Resort

Past its prime and ready for new investment. The beach villa is spectacular for the view and is so spacious. It’s special to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The people are friendly here. But there is a certain sad feeling about this place. So much potential but just misses the mark. If you are looking for a place off the beaten path with your own private pool right on the beach, this is a wonderful solution. The restaurant delivers good food, especially the noodle soups and other local dishes for breakfast. The dishes have been well seasoned like mom would make.

The sea space is charming, the snail room is comfortable. I accidentally booked this hotel on the app because it was cheap, also worried about not knowing if the hotel had the same reviews I saw. And the first result when I came here I felt the friendliness of the people here, they were so enthusiastic, I seemed to want to know what information they could give me. The price is cheap but the quality is ok, the prestige should be there.

The Code Hotel & Spa Da Nang

The breakfast was very generous, the location was a bit biased, and the entrance and exit were called by cars. I was attracted by the rooms with glass views on both sides, so I booked the executive room intentionally. As a result, a new building was built next to it, which blocked the view. I was disappointed. A room with floor-to-ceiling windows and no balcony looks slightly better

1. The location was amazing with beach right in front of the hotel. The ocean view rooms also have a small sitting area where you can sit for hours and enjoy the view. 2. For the tariff, the room was spacious and had all the amenities you would expect from a good 3 star hotel. A tiny detail also to add here is the fact that the room did not have the distinct smell usually associated with properties that are located near the sea. Was that because the hotel is fairly new or just the upkeep has been very good, I couldn't guess. 3. The staff was exceptionally warm and courteous. They ensured that we would get vegetarian breakfast each day and would gladly take up any request or query we would have 4. The breakfast options are limited in Vietnam for vegetarians, but thankfully here the staff tried their best to accommodate our dietary restrictions and cooked vegetarian breakfast for us.

The sea view in the room is still great, but there is always a fan noise in the room that cannot be turned off, and the air conditioner also makes noise when turned off. Moreover, there is no air conditioning in the corridor. When the air conditioning is turned on and the air conditioning is turned off, it becomes very hot again. It feels like there is a fan constantly sucking hot air into the room. The concierge was very nice. It’s really nice to have bikes to ride.
