Audrey Huang, our tour guide was fabulous and provided us with great information and details of the SXD relics and history. It was a info rich outing and quite be quite exhausting mentally. I must say that the museum was well designed and beautiful. Space management and guided tour content design was just enough. This tour is a must and highly recommended. Our guide, Shanshan, was the bridge connecting our journey with the 'ancient mystery' and the 'present charm'. At Sanxingdui, she was a composed enigma solver. With clear logic, she peeled back the layers of mystery surrounding the ancient Shu civilization, imbuing the cold bronze with the warmth of stories. When she pointed to the 'Divine Tree Reaching Heaven,' we seemed to hear the chanting of the ancient Shu priests. At the Panda Base, she was a joyful sharer. Knowing every panda's story intimately, her eyes sparkled as she showed us the little bundles of joy playing and munching on bamboo shoots. She not only showed us their cuteness but also helped us understand the significance of protecting them. From millennia-old cultural relics to the heartwarming paradise of national treasures, Shanshan perfectly navigated this vast shift in time and theme. With knowledge as her vessel, enthusiasm as her sail, and meticulous care as her warm breeze, she guided us on a perfect cultural and natural journey. Thank you, Shanshan, for leaving such a profound imprint of the rich heritage and vitality of Sichuan and Chongqing on our hearts.
Reviews: Join a local market tour for authentic Sichuan cooking! - Chengdu-Eatwith
Guest User2025-10-02
Great experience, we were guided by Hang in the market, who explained the different vegetables to us. We then had tea and ate peanuts. Then we started cooking with a chef. She didn't speak English, but Hang did the translation. We prepared 3 dishes, all as good as each other. I highly recommend doing this activity during your visit to Chengdu!
Reviews: Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum "Tracking the Three Kingdoms" Parent-Child Study Tour [Includes Admission Ticket + Study Guide + Headphones + Study Tour Creative Handicraft + Commemorative Gift]

Teacher Chen's explanations were very thorough, taking into full account the age groups of both children and parents. However, the study tour activities were too simplistic.
