It was convenient and cheap. Driver was good at navigating amidst the snowy winter weather. Downside was we had to wait for 10-15 mins before bus arrived at the meeting point. Meeting point was few km away from our hotel and had to take taxi cuz it was freezing to walk with kids from our hotel. Overall was good and recommend if you’re on a budget.

When booking through Ctrip, the drop-off point wasn't clear. It's advisable to contact Ctrip customer service for details beforehand and leave a mainland China mobile number. The driver contacted us beforehand to let us know his arrival time. We insisted on asking where he was waiting at Huanglong Scenic Area, as we assumed we'd pick up at the Bilaike pick-up point and rushed there. However, he was waiting at the visitor center. We finally got on the bus smoothly. Our hotel was conveniently located right by the main road, and the driver thoughtfully dropped us off right in front of the hotel, saving us older passengers from having to walk too far. It was really good. The only downside was that the seats were a bit small.
