Hongluo Mountain Hongluo Temple Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Hongluo Mountain, 5 kilometers north of Huairou District, Beijing, and 55 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. The scenic area has a total area of ​​800 hectares and is a national AAAA-level tourist area. Hongluo Temple was built in the fourth year of Xiankang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 338) and was originally named "Daming Temple". Hongluo Temple faces south and is built according to the mountain. It has a rigorous layout and majestic momentum. It leans against Hongluo Mountain in the back and shines on Hongluo Lake in the south. It is surrounded by mountains and water, with lush forests and towering ancient trees. Hongluo Temple is located in the thousands of acres of green ancient pine forest in front of Hongluo Mountain, forming a beautiful picture of "ancient temple hidden in blue waves". Yanqi Lake is located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, 8 kilometers north of Huairou City, a suburb of Beijing. It is bordered by the majestic Great Wall to the north and the endless North China Plain to the south. It is a water park with beautiful scenery. Yanqi Lake has a wide and clear water surface. Groups of wild geese often come to live in the lake every spring and autumn, hence its name. Since 1986, the Huairou District Government has continuously increased its investment in Yanqi Lake, and has successively built some scenic spots. Now it has become a good place for Beijing citizens to relax and travel during their holidays. In 2000, it was rated as a national AAAA-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.
