As a senior teacher of Chinese as a foreign language (proficient in English and Japanese) and a senior pastry chef, I like delicious and exquisite Chinese pastries. I hope to use my expertise as a tea sommelier in a Chinese flower arrangement studio. In addition to making and tasting Chinese dim sum, we will also serve you a fragrant Chinese tea. Here, not only can you visit the new Shikumen lanes with old Shanghai style and experience lane life, but you can also meet Chinese dim sum lovers from all over the world. Experience Highlights️Make colorful xiaolongbao️The studio is located in the new Shikumen lane, with a strategic location, quiet and private space in the middle of the bustle.️In addition to making Xiaolongbao, we also provide a thin-crust pizza recipe and tasting made from dumpling wrappers. After the preparation is completed, drink a Chinese tea and share the basic knowledge of Chinese tea.️Yin is good at Chinese, English and Japanese. In addition to being a senior pastry chef, he is also a tea artist and florist. Friends who are interested in tea, flowers, and Japanese culture can discuss and communicate with Yin. Experience processThis course includes making dough, rolling out dough, filling stuffing, steaming steamed dumplings, and tasting thin-crust pizza made from steamed dumplings and dumpling wrappers. While steaming the steamed dumplings, everyone can choose their favorite tea cup and taste a Chinese tea recommended by Yin, who will share some basic knowledge about Chinese tea with you. Chinese recipes (including how to make skin jelly) will be provided after class. If you need English or Japanese recipes, please contact Yin. Venue introductionThe studio is located between Hengshan Road and Wukang Road, adjacent to Siwei Village in Xujiahui Park. Siwei Village is a new-style Shikumen Lane, built in the same year as Hengshan Hotel and using the same building materials (Hengshan Hotel is one of the six famous hotels in Shanghai and was formerly the famous Piccardi Apartments). You can feel the old Shanghai style in the lanes. The studio is quiet in the bustle, and is only a 5-minute walk to the landmark Wukang Building, Internet celebrity street Wukang Road, Hengshan Road, and Xujiahui Commercial Center.
