This was a 2 part tour. The Academia tour was lead by a lovely Danish woman. Tour was very informative and was just detailed enough. Uffizi tour was led by Claudia. This museum is SO large and it was great to visit to the masterpieces chosen by her. Because we visited in the off season, there were no crowds and we had plenty of time to enjoy each room. Claudia recommended 2 fantastic gelato spots and we loved them! Highly recommend this tour

I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. I took this class with Francesca in early September. Francesca was so lively and did a very nice job of ensuring everyone understood and heard each and every step. After reading some reviews I wasn’t sure if I was going to actually learn how to make the sauces; Francesca explained the entire process step-by-step. A month later, I was able to accurately re-create a Tuscan Ragú with homemade pappardelle. The wine was great. The people were great. It was an overall excellent experience. Thank you, Francesca, for sharing your family recipes! I came before the rest of my group came to Italy; I wish I would’ve been able to find some thing for our large group just like this!


