Five-star recommendation for a Penang day trip!
A day trip to the heart of George Town's historic city was so relaxing 🌿 Penang Hill, Love Lane, street murals, clan jetties… Full of retro Nanyang charm, every snapshot is a masterpiece 📸
Exploring local delicacies along the way: Char Kway Teow, Hokkien Prawn Noodles, Cendol, Satay… Full of local flavor, authentic and delicious, you won't be disappointed! Our guide, Ken, was very patient, arranging a well-planned itinerary at a relaxed pace, covering all the cultural sights, scenery, and food. He was also very patient in answering any questions outside the itinerary!
Immersed in Penang's laid-back lifestyle, a must-do in Malaysia, the experience was absolutely perfect 💯★

Two days before the tour, the driver/guide contacted me to confirm the tour, which was reassuring. On the day of the tour, he was punctual and we set off promptly at 9am. We first visited a few recommended tourist spots in and around Georgetown. We spent a good 2 hours at the Pinang Peranakan Mansion. We joined the informative guided tour and also watched a entertaining play featuring Peranakan culture. It was sought of a musical and it is interactive in nature. Really enjoyed it! We also visited the Chew jetty after lunch and it was a eye-opening experience too. The driver/guide provided useful insights throughout the whole journey. We made a last minute request to skip visiting Penang Hill and to visit Balik Pulau for durian tasting instead and the driver was most obliging. It was a really enjoyable trip indeed.★

Choosing a Chinese-speaking guide/driver was excellent. The guide's explanations of Penang and Malaysian culture were superb, helping my family better understand Malaysia's scenery, culture, and geography. They were also familiar with the roads and terrain, the time was well-planned, and the recommended lunch was satisfying. They even helped take group photos. Highly recommend this chartered tour!
