It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world, built near the site where three shepherd children reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. The basilica was constructed between 1928 and 1953 in a neoclassical style, featuring a tall central bell tower and beautiful stained glass windows. It is part of the Sanctuary of Fátima, which attracts millions of visitors every year seeking peace, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
