This was an English-language tour, so a certain level of English proficiency was required. The domestic travel agency was their downstream partner, and they didn't notify us the night before. When we called the domestic agency, they explained that foreigners don't usually join WeChat groups, so we had to find the pick-up location ourselves. In short, the domestic travel agency's service wasn't very good; they need to improve their service awareness. Fortunately, the guide and driver from this British-owned Rabbs company were very helpful, and everything went relatively smoothly.★

The tour included guided commentary and was conducted in a comfortable and spacious 8-seater minibus. Three hours were allocated for the final visit to Darcy Estate, which was ample time to explore the entire estate.★

It was a great snapshot (whistle stop tour) of the Lake District. What I enjoy about Rabbie’s Tours is they are small groups, the driver keeps you entertained while driving, gives you the highlights and suggestions at the stop but you roam freely to explore.Trip.com picks
