Caernarfon Castle

Caernarfon Castle is located in the center of Caernarfon and is a famous castle in northern Wales. Influenced by the architectural style of the Eastern Roman Empire, the towers of Caernarfon Castle are polygonal rather than round, and the walls feature distinctive geometric patterns. The castle is grand in scale, with passages connecting the various towers, and crisscrossing passages within the individual towers themselves, making it quite interesting to explore. Inside some of the towers, you can watch films documenting the castle's history and view various exhibits, such as the campaigns of Edward I to conquer Wales, the 1969 investiture of Prince Charles as the Prince of Wales, and imperial military medals.

Penrhyn Castle is located in the small seaside town of Bongo and was built in the early 19th century. Although it is called a "castle", it is not a military fortress, but a noble residence. The early owners were the Pennant family. The castle is divided into two floors, the first floor includes the living room, dining room and study, and the second floor is the master's bedroom, bathroom and chapel, which are warmly and beautifully decorated. In addition to Norman-style furniture, there are many famous paintings in the castle, and the 60-acre large garden is also a highlight.

Conwy Castle

The castle was built between 1277 and 1307 and can be regarded as one of the more majestic Welsh forts built by Edward I. The castle stands on a rugged rock overlooking the estuary National Park. Exploring every corner of the castle is a very unforgettable experience, and the cramped stairs are difficult to walk, but they are not meaningful. Standing on the battlements, you can not only see the magnificent and complex construction process of Conwy Castle, but also look at the vast bay and the scattered towns of Conwy, and the photos taken are particularly beautiful.
