Xibaipo Patriotic Tourism Scenic Area Review

This is a free and open patriotic education base in China. It is located outside Pingshan County on the outskirts of Shijiazhuang City, backed by Taihang Mountain. The scenic spot is centered on the former office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and there is a special memorial hall for everyone to tell the story here.

There are several parking lots, you can park at Xibaipo Lake, then walk along the lake, see the monument forest, 24 solar terms, old site, memorial hall, monument, return to the lake, about two hours. Go to the ministries, a few kilometers away, you can see it alone.

Xibaipo, the five holy places of the revolution, has always been a classic attraction of red tourism. It is not too far from Beijing, so a few of our colleagues packaged a car to organize Xibaipo to travel! Out of Beijing, take the Jingkun Expressway to Shijiazhuang and drive a while in the direction of Pingshan County to Xibaipo. According to the history book, Xibaipo was originally named "Baibu", which was built in the Tang Dynasty and was named because of the lush green cypress on the slope of the village. In 1935, a teacher in the village changed the "Bu" to "Po", and because of the opposite of the "Dongbaibu" village, he changed his name to "Xibaipo Village". Xibaipo was chosen as the command center for the liberation of all China and the preparation of the new China, not only with its unique geographical conditions and natural environment, but also with the revolutionary foundation and political advantages that have been established over the years. Xibaipo, this small mountain village on the north bank of the Weihe River in the western mountainous area, not only beautiful scenery, but also beautiful soil and water. She is located in the middle of Pingshan County, at the intersection of North China Plain and Taihang Mountain, in a sunny horse-hooked mountain, Xibaipo surrounded by mountains on three sides, one side surrounded by water, west to Taihang Mountain, east to the middle plain, from the north China town Shijiazhuang only 90 kilometers. Convenient transportation, easy to defend difficult, suitable for the crisis to retreat to the mountains, smooth and easy to advance to the city. We first visited the Xibaipo Memorial Hall to understand the history of the Chinese revolution. Here, through the picture text introduction and physical display of the red regime from birth to victory, although we have learned a lot from the book before, we still have a lot of gains. Then I visited the former residences of Chairman Mao and other five secretaries. Looking at the furnishings of this simple house and the simple photos, it is difficult to imagine that our revolutionary leaders have led the people's army to victory in one key battle after another under such simple conditions. It laid the foundation for the establishment of new China. The old revolutionary martyrs were not hardworking, and the spirit of self-dedication deeply encouraged everyone. salute the revolutionaries of the old generation! !
