Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery is located one kilometer outside the south China gate of Nanjing City, covering an area of 153.7 hectares. It is the earliest and largest national martyrs' cemetery established after the founding of New China. On the 1500-meter central axis, from north to south, martyrs on the righteous group carvings, martyrs monuments, reflection pools, memorial bridges, memorial halls, and loyal soul pavilions are launched in turn, forming the central memorial area, solemn and magnificent. Complementing with the central memorial area, there are also memorial buildings such as the tombs of famous martyrs and the martyrs scattered throughout the cemetery.
