The Museum named after N. K. Roerich Review

The Rörich family is descended from Scandinavians from northern Europe, and their ancestors became nobles when they fought for the Hechts during Peter the Great. From childhood, he was interested in painting and Eastern culture. In 1893, he enrolled at the Imperial College of Art in St. Petersburg (in order not to defy his father's orders, he also enrolled in the Faculty of Law at St. Petersburg University), and studied with the famous Russian landscape painter A• Yi• Kuinzhi. During his time at the university, he also participated in several archaeological activities. In order to visit Ross' historical sites and Orthodox monuments, he has tracks throughout Petersburg, Pskov, Tver, Yaroslav and other places. The painter has been exploring Central Asia and Tibet for a long time. He loves to paint mythological subjects or exotic styles, and his works are always unique and have a very mysterious feeling. Photographing is strictly prohibited.

This is different from Chinatown, and is a bit related to our great motherland. The owner has been interested in painting and Oriental art since childhood, so he painted a lot of Tibetan humanistic paintings

Very good museum

Although small, but well planned, there are regular indoor exhibition halls, the traditional venues here are very rich, love history and art can stay for a day.
