Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence Review

Song Qingling, who works at 1843 Huaihai Middle Road and has lived for 15 years, is a small house with red tiles and white walls. Originally a German private villa, it is now a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national second-level Museum and a patriotic education base in Shanghai. On the back wall of the living room hangs the portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. On the south wall hangs the photograph of Chairman Mao Zedong visiting her in 1961. On the west side of the living room, there are important souvenirs from her personal life experience and precious gifts from friends from all over the world. In front of the building, there is a broad lawn, behind the building is a garden full of flowers and trees, surrounded by evergreen centenary camphor trees. A "Jim" sedan from Stalin was also parked in the garage downstairs.
