Shakespeare's Globe Review

Watched the afternoon performance of Midsummer Night's Dream. It was an incredible performance, very interesting, fun-filled, easy to watch and understand. The actors were all excellent, and the play incorporated some modern elements but very tasteful and textured. The building is beautiful, we have good seats on the upper floor, G1 and G2 have good stage views. Recommend everyone to go to the Universal Theatre to see the performance.

My daughter was responsible for choosing where to play and she chose Shakespeare Globe Theatre, which was a great choice! The guide was very interesting and she made the girls laugh, even though they had heard the jokes. He grabbed the whole group's attention and even offered to pose for pictures of Pose in front of the stage.

Shakespeare's Globe is a reconstruction of the Globe Theater that saw the light thanks to the determination of the American actor and director Sam Wanamaker. It faithfully recreates the original theater, built a few hundred meters away, for the first time in 1599 and destroyed by a fire in 1613, rebuilt in 1614 and finally demolished thirty years later. A wonderful place for theater lovers. You can visit it with a guide or take part in one of the many programs offered. I definitely recommend a guided tour. A point worth visiting and listening to the history of Shakespeare and his time.

One of must see places in London. it is actually 20+ years old replica of old theatre but done in a very authentic way. it’s very busy so bookings in advance for trips and shows are essential. it’s a great area for a troll next to river thames but it can get pretty busy so better to do it mid week and in the morning. Very photogenic.
