National Art Gallery Review

It's a good exhibition of national Filipino artists. There are many paintings of historic events and people of the Philippines. Many sculptures as well.

It is only one road away from the National Museum of the Philippines. The appearance is magnificent. Typical Spanish style. There are many paintings, prints, batiks and sculptures by Filipino famous artists. Very distinctive and worth seeing.

The Philippine People's Museum is just across the road from the National Gallery of the Philippines. This magnificent building was the first to be the Capitol in the Philippines, and there are still several halls that retain their original appearance, not to mention in Southeast Asia, it is not a loss to move to Europe. Similar to the National Museum of Mexico, the exhibition here also began with the religious art of the Spanish colonial era, and has evolved into contemporary art that is not accessible to people today after the development of several generations of local painters. There is also a special Rizal Hall, which displays various Rizal-themed artworks, including a sketch of Rizal himself painted when he studied in Europe. Compared with painting, the sculptures in the gallery look a bit rough, and look like old building components that have been removed.

Went there with family. No entrance fee. It was just near UN station and yet we were mislead by tricycle driver when we asked for directions.paid 70 pesos when t was really near LRT and we were wondering why he was driving slow.our 3 year old enjoyed at the museum
