Master Lu Ban Exhibition Room Review

The Master Lu Ban Exhibition Room is an interesting minor attraction found small Rua de Camilio Pessanha, a few blocks northwest of Senado Square in the Historic Centre of Macau.This is a 19th-century building which functioned as a Carpentry Guildhall. Today it is a two room exhibition centre. The first room includes a shrine while the second includes an display of over 80 different carpentry tools and implements. There are wall panels with history of Master Lu Ban, the ancient Chinese carpenter from around 500 BC.

We are all familiar with Lu Ban, the ancestor of woodworking. There are many traditional tools for woodworking. There is an exhibition hall of Lu Ban's ancestors'wood crafts between 39 and 41 Pishanye Street. There is a large Lu Ban lock in front of the hall. Without nails, it can be connected and supported by tenon-mortise structure completely. It's mysterious. On the other hand, through a series of exhibitions and multimedia facilities, the exhibition room displays more than 80 pieces of traditional wooden tools, such as saws, planers, drills, ink buckets, as well as pictures and texts of Luban legends and inventions, and broadcasts woodworking movies about the use of tools. The point is that visitors can also experience the operation themselves and experience the feeling of being a craftsman.

There are many physical models to try in the Luban Pre-Teacher Hall, and there is time to go down and down.
