Ma'ao Museum Review

Maqi Town is located in the northwest of Dinghai, anciently known as "jingtao". According to the examination, Maqi is a famous "sea cultural relics hometown" in Zhejiang Province. There are Maqi ancient cultural sites, Maqi museums, ancient houses, campfire platforms, etc. Maxi Ancient Cultural Site Group is the largest, most complete and most abundant original village site found in Zhoushan Islands. Mayu earthen mound culture belongs to the branch of Hemudu culture. The pots unearthed in the mound have traces of rice grains from 6,000 years ago. It is determined by experts that it is one of the empirical evidences of Dongdu Japan in ancient Yue "Indica culture".
