The CSHK Building is the most representative building in Macau, located in the heart of Macau's bustling city. It was built in 1784 and formerly known as the City Hall. It has galleries and libraries inside. The "All-Australian Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" held every December is an important exhibition in Macau's art world. The library has a very different flavor, Portuguese style, specializing in foreign ancient books from the 17th century to 1950, including the Portuguese newspaper Bee Hua, which was founded in 1822.
