饵块鸡，是该店的招牌菜，饵块是切成小丁状的，加上辣椒及其他调料，一盘美味的饵块鸡就形成了。该店的松鼠鱼也是比较有特色的，该店的生意特别火爆，有好几个连锁店，但是依旧会出现经常有人排队等位子的现象。该店的价格比较合适，附近有停车场，公交车也是特别的方便，一般，人们都是逛建设路累了，到了吃饭时间就去红豆园等着。

老牌家常菜馆，感觉开业至少20年以上了，而且文林街店似乎从没有装修，上世纪90年代的风格。 很久没来它家，生意依旧不错，本地的中老年人更喜欢光顾。菜品选择丰富，包含了各种各样的家常菜，价格中等，上菜速度很快。 这次点的几个菜都还可以，唯独凉面实在太甜了，虽然老昆明风味就是要放甜酱油，但它家的甜过头了。过段时间还会再试试其它菜。
