Jingfu Palace is located in the north of downtown Seoul, also known as Beique. It has a history of more than 600 years. It is the first palace built in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of Korea. It is the first of the five palaces in scale. It is famous for the magnificent buildings of nearly 200 palaces. Visiting Jingfu Palace is relatively simple. Guanghua Gate and Shenwumen constitute the starting point and end point of the tour route, and vice versa. On the opposite side of Shenwumen is Qingwatai. Here, you can enjoy different sceneries throughout the year, which can make your eyes full.

It has three courtyards, one within another for different with a central palace in each. The place is big and houses two museum as well. It will take 3-4 hours at minimum to explore it fully.Don’t miss the Royal guard parade and ceremonies

One of the finest (must visit) places in Seoul to witness ancient/historical times of Korean history and culture! Very well maintained. Easily accessible from metro station. Loved walking around the palace premises and witness the historical vibes. It feels so good to be here if you’re a history loving person! Also, the admission is discounted for those with physical disabilities and free to those wearing Hanboks (the traditional Korean attire than can be rented just outside of the palace at various shops).
