贵德县位于青海省东部，海南藏族自治州东南部。黄河由西向东纵贯罗汉堂、河西、河阴、河东、尕让五个乡镇，在黄河上游建制最早，历史悠久，境内山清水秀，自然环境优美，也是黄河水最清澈的一段，素有“小江南”之称。黄河清大桥，目前是青海境内黄河上跨度最大的铁索吊桥，桥的造型流畅，桥面比较宽 ，来往的车辆到不是很多， 从桥上往下看，是清澈奔腾的黄河水，在这里也能彻底颠覆 “跳进黄河也不洗清” 的说法。。
