From Chayu, follow Provincial Highway 201 to Demla Mountain, a barrier in the eastern Tibetan Plateau, the main body of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters, comparable to Mount Mira. Dumla is not handsome or steep, but heavy and strong, and loyally guards the blessed land of southeast Tibet. When viewed halfway up the mountain, it is still sacred, the main peak is ice crystal, and the snowy mountain is bare with dark red soil and black rocks.
