The architectural style of the ancient town is in stark contrast to the modern buildings in downtown Chongqing, making it seem to have traveled to ancient times. Ciqikou Ancient Town has a long history, dating back to the Song Dynasty. According to the history books, Ciqikou in the Ming Dynasty has become a bustling commercial terminal, business travel is gathered, convenient transportation. In the Qing Dynasty, Ciqikou has become a commercial town in the East Sichuan area, and it has a history of hundreds of years. The cultural connotation of Ciqikou Ancient Town is also very rich, with a deep Bayan culture heritage. In the ancient town, you can enjoy traditional Bayan dance, Sichuan drama, book review and other folk art performances, and you can also taste a variety of authentic Chongqing cuisine. In addition, Ciqikou Ancient Town also has a unique folk culture, such as marriage, funeral and other ceremonies have their own unique traditional customs.
