Black Desert Review

‪I went on a two day/one night desert safari camping trip with Islam and thoroughly recommend to everyone (I’ve already started planning a longer trip to come back because one night was definitely not enough!)I went with our guide Islam (WhatsApp him on 00201277098180) who was lovely, spoke great English and was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the desert. He also made an amazing home cooked feast by the campfire which we ate looking at the stars followed by delicious Bedouin tea. The trip included: pick up from our hotel in Cairo, a tasty lunch at Islam’s house, a trip to the black desert and a short climb to the viewing point, a dip in the fresh springs eating figs, the crystal mountain, the old and new white desert (ask Islam why the difference..), sandboarding, camping under the stars with a genuine feast, and a breakfast watching the sunrise. An experience we won’t forget in a long time. If you have the chance, go with Islam for a couple of nights and you will not regret it (even my partner loved it and he normally hates camping…!)‬

The black and white desert is a typical natural desert form. The black ingredients of the black and white desert are impurities. There is not much to visit. When you come during the day, you feel that it is still desolate. The desert climate is also very dry.

Cairo's black and white desert is a very magical place, one desert sand white as snow covered on it, and the other black desert like coal sprinkled on the sand, black and white, in stark contrast. This is also an important play point for Cairo desert tourism, don't miss it.

It's beautiful that the distance is a bit far away, watching the sunset and sunrise in the desert and enjoying the stones formed by the forces of nature for millions of years. In the evening, I walked the mountains with my friends under the very shocking starry sky, eating the meal made by the guide, happy Max! After visiting several characteristic attractions the next day, our group returned to the oasis and ended a two-day and one-night trip to the black and white desert.

Cairo's black and white desert is a very strange desert landscape, divided into white desert and black desert. White sand mo has many strange sand piles, like a sculpture in the desert. The sand of the black desert is mostly gray and black, which is very visual. In addition to visiting the pyramids, the black and white desert is a must-see place, don't miss it.

Bahaliya Oasis (Black and White Desert) Two days and one night travel note: Although the embassy sent a message that the Bahaliya Oasis area is not safe, after consulting friends who just played the black and white desert and Sinai Peninsula shortly before, we decided to go to the black and white desert to play once. In fact, after coming, I found that it was quite safe, and the guide who took us was very nice and taught us Arabic. My roommate and I have been very yearning for Egypt. In the last summer vacation before graduation, I finally bought a ticket to open the ancient Egyptian trip. This time the main destination is the black and white desert and pyramids, so I contacted a local black and white desert camping group in Egypt in China. I plan to go to the desert first and then go back to Cairo to see the pyramids. First day: arrived in Cairo at 12:30 in the evening, with the help of good people, finally arrived at a very remote hotel not far from the airport (Tips: It is recommended that you book a hotel or a good city or contact the hotel to pick up the plane. We set the Heliopolis Rock Hotel more expensive than the city hotel. Not very convenient.) The next day: I have already contacted the black and white desert tour guide on WeChat before. I made an appointment to pick us up at the hotel at 7 am. After breakfast, we got on the bus and set off. The car slept all the way. It took about 5 or 6 hours to get to the tour guide Badry's house. I also saw his family. They were very kind, we had a local lunch together, and then he took us around for a week, it turned out that there was accommodation available here, listening to Badry said that their family had received a lot of foreign tourists, and many foreigners came to the oasis and settled here. At about 2 o'clock, we set off to the Black Desert (actually the volcanic area), and then took us to the natural hot springs. Crystal Valley( There are many beautiful quartz and other stones in it), Aqapat Valley( You can see various Egyptian spices). After visiting the Black Desert, we set off to the White Desert again, we arrived first Mushroom Valley, Seeing The Valley of the Tents, we finally reached the camping area, where we enjoyed the desert sunset and had a delicious BBQ for dinner. After dinner, we looked up at the stars around the campfire, and we could clearly see the Milky Way and pointed us to a few planets. Another interesting activity is to play with the desert foxes, they are very cute, we fed them a lot. On the third day, we got up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, Badry took us to see all kinds of fun stones. Then we took the car back to the Bahaliya Oasis, and returned to the hotel in Cairo around 10 or 11 o'clock, which ended our trip to the Sahara Desert. Cost: $200 for a car (converted to more than 1,000 yuan), about 400 yuan per person for three people, including three meals, Mineral water and drinks, fruit, all camping supplies (no need to bring your own mattress, sleeping bag and so on).
