The udon set with a rice ball is my go-to. Really filling for the price. The noodles had a nice chew, and the broth was simple but good. A solid, no-fuss lunch that hits the spot.

Decent kaiseki for the price. The courses were nicely paced and felt satisfying. A solid choice if you're not in Tokyo.

The seafood ramen had a really rich bonito broth. The noodles were perfectly chewy. I tried it with a local craft lager, and the crispness cut through the umami nicely. A solid choice for a quick, satisfying bowl.

Family-run, the chef's son was very attentive. Ordered the grilled fish and a local beer. Service was prompt, which is appreciated when you're on a business schedule. Good for a straightforward meal near the station.

Got here right at opening and it was already filling up! Snagged the last few rice balls - they were still warm and so good. Definitely come early if you want those.

The gyoza filling is so thick and rich, not like the usual ones. Went really well with the barisoba. Just a solid, comforting combo for a quiet dinner.

The unagi don here is so good! The eel was super tender and the flavor was just right. The sashimi on the side was fresh too. Perfect for a casual lunch with friends, we ended up chatting for ages.

The hamburger steak with white sauce and grated yam was a fun surprise. The yuzu pepper gave it a nice little kick.

The red bean paste here is just right, not too sweet. Texture's smooth and rich. Tried the ogura with chestnuts, really liked it. A bit pricier than other shops nearby, but you can taste the difference.

The sea urchin pasta is the reason to come. Quality uni, no fishy taste. Had it for a quick business lunch. Portion was a bit small for the price, but the flavor was spot-on.

Been coming here for years. The lunch sets are a solid deal, but I usually go for the a la carte beef cuts. Pork and chicken are fine, but the beef is what keeps me coming back.

The owners are a friendly couple, though they were quite busy. The sea urchin flan was a standout, so creamy and rich. The main meat dish that followed was just as good. A very comfortable spot for a quiet meal.
