My wife and I went for dinner on a Monday night. The pub wasn&#39;t too busy which was lovely. We were quickly seated and attended to. Drinks were ok but the startes and sharing plates were great! Well seasoned and presented. Highly recommend the chicken karaage. Our mains were generously sized but a bit lacking in flavour. We had pork belly (saved by the tasty sauce) and sea bass (needed salt). All in all a lovely meal and we would visit again if in the area.

The booking was made for 8:30 but the restaurant didn&#39;t open until 9 , but they served us anyway which was great, the breakfast was very good 100% visit again

Lovely staff, wonderful service and excellent food. It&#39;s a great pity though that the Tuna Abrizzese Salad -- their best dish and featured as the illustration on this page -- is no longer on the menu. In fact there are no salads on the menu at all except for side salads -- as a vegetarian that is something that I really miss.I&#39;d also like to see a proper automatic door system fitted. The current front door is extremely heavy -- my mother can&#39;t open it on her own so doesn&#39;t go there any more without help. Worse than this, the door sticks fully open quite often as people leave, and when it&#39;s freezing outside if you&#39;re sitting by the window then it gets very cold very quickly. Small things which could make a big difference to our experience as regulars at this great restaurant.

Absolutely amazing experience. From drinks to canapies and main course , the taste was amazing would definitely come here again.

The food was amazing, staff were polite and friendly Food arrived quickly I would rate our food as excellent. We even got the table I requested.

I had a lovely meal at this pub with generous portion sizes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and informed us about upcoming events, making our visit even better.

Everyone is friendly, welcoming and efficient in this family restaurant. The meals are always freshly prepared and excellent.

Lovely setting and excellent service. The food was very good quality and beautifully presented. We used our yums without any issue and we are looking forward to returning.

While the food at the Woodsman was excellent, the service could use some improvement. The staff were friendly, but there were moments of delay that affected the overall experience. Still, the flavors were top-notch!

Katherine at the restaurant is a standout! Every meal I&#39;ve had there has been memorable, and the service is always top-notch.

If you&#39;re looking for a charming place to dine near the NEC, the Little Owl is a fantastic choice. The chicken kebab and slow-cooked beef were both excellent, and the staff were very accommodating.
