The atmosphere of this restaurant is lovely, especially the terrace for outdoor dining. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.

Been coming here for a while now. Still love their tea selection, you don&#39;t see those options everywhere. The little chocolate on the side is a nice touch too.

The francesinha here is seriously good, one of the best I&#39;ve had in Portugal. The sauce is rich but not heavy, and that smoked sausage gives it a nice kick. Cool modern space too.

Three courses for about &euro;20 each and the food was solid, soup to dessert. Good spot if you&#39;re out with friends and wanna keep it casual without breaking the bank 😄

The white port was the highlight for me&mdash;crisp, slightly nutty, went down easy after walking around all day. Tasting room staff let us take our time, didn&rsquo;t rush us. Could&rsquo;ve used a bit more guidance on the food pairings though. Solid stop if you&rsquo;re into fortified wines.

The wine list surprised me too, found a nice Portuguese red that paired beautifully with the dish. Service was friendly, though it did take a while to get the bill. Solid spot overall.

We stopped by for lunch and the food was decent &mdash; portions are generous, no complaints there. Just note they charge for the bread and olives they bring out, and it&rsquo;s cash only. Service was a bit slow but the river view made up for it. Pretty good spot overall if you&rsquo;re not in a hurry.

The braised cod was a solid portion for the price, honestly hard to beat around here. Got plenty of fish, cooked just right. Only downside, we waited a while for it to come out, but it was a busy Saturday so I guess that&#39;s on us. Would go back just for that dish though.

Service was solid even when it was packed. Staff took a minute to walk us through the menu, made sure we got what we needed. No complaints.

The grilled octopus was spot-on, and they paired it nicely with a crisp white wine. Menu&rsquo;s in both languages, so easy for us foreigners. Just double-check their hours before heading over&mdash;we almost got turned away.

The daily special was a solid deal, tasty and well plated. Service lagged a bit, they were swamped.

the ambience, scenery, location, setting is a 5 stars for sure.. the food was good but my only deception was the cod fish..  the menu should have emphasised this was not fresh cod but salted cod.  The server did mention the dish was salty but there&#39;s a huge difference between being salty and not fresh fish.   That part of the meal completely threw  us off of what could have been an exceptional experience.

The menu&rsquo;s got some solid vegetarian picks. Food was tasty, but portions definitely shrank since I was here two years ago.

Great food, really affordable compared to Lisbon. Waiter was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our experience. We were there on Sunday dinner, there was only one other table and they left shorty around 8.30, restaurant opened at 8pm, so we were the only customers

My only small thing&mdash;the chairs could be a bit more comfortable, but honestly, I&#39;d still sit through a meal here again.

The owner runs the place solo &mdash; cooking and serving with real care. Local sausages and chicken gizzards were pretty good. Nothing fancy, but decent for a quick bite.

The veal here was the standout for me &mdash; really tender, cooked just right. I went for the house dessert after and it didn&rsquo;t disappoint either. Place has that quiet, upscale vibe, not stuffy though. Michelin mention makes sense, but honestly I&rsquo;d come back just for that main course. Slightly pricey, but the quality matches.

The veal chops were grilled just right, came with potatoes and veggies. Decent spot in Pinhao, service was friendly and prices fair.

The alheira was spot on, and the doce da casa rounded things off nicely. Meat came exactly as asked. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about a wine to go with it&mdash;picked something local that worked well. Place was busy but not chaotic. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but I left satisfied.

Stopped by for lunch on a work trip. Portions are solid, food came out fast. Had the grilled meat with house red &mdash; the wine was surprisingly good for the price. Nothing fancy, but it does the job if you want a proper meal without overpaying. Place gets busy around 1pm though.

Amazing food from such a small place tucked out of the way. Reasonably priced too and friendly and knowledgable waiter. Highly recommended.

Nuno and Rosa were so welcoming, even poured us some local green wine to try with the black pork. Felt like we were eating at a friend&#39;s place.

Exceptional food (probably the best in the valley) and location as ever. Service took time to get going and was a bit patchy. Communication in English to Portuguese was also a barrier.
