Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the set menu. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. The dessert was the highlight — simple but really good. Place was a bit busy, but that’s fine. Solid spot if you’re in a hurry and want something decent.

The server knew the menu well and pointed me to a solid pick. Food came out quick, exactly what I needed for a lunch break. No complaints.

The view of Thun from the terrace is stunning. Had the rösti and it was crispy, exactly how I like it. Service was quick too.

The choice is wide and it is difficult to choose! I went for a shrimp salad and as main course for giant shrimps with ginger and mixed vegetables. My wife beef cutlet with vegetables and ice cream! The restaurant is owned by Malaysian Chinese and the food is Asian and delicious! The scenery is 😻beautiful

The pizza was solid—crispy crust, good toppings, and the price felt fair for the portion. I grabbed a glass of their house red to go with it, which worked fine, nothing fancy. Service though, a bit scattered. Mixed up our order and the guy didn’t seem too bothered about fixing it. Food saved the night, but don’t expect a warm welcome.

The terrace really is something—right on the river, you can just sit there and watch the water. Pizza was solid, crispy crust, decent toppings. Lunch specials looked good too, though I stuck with the pizza. Service was fine, no complaints. Place has a nice relaxed feel, not too touristy. Wouldn't mind coming back for a longer meal next time.

Great spot right by the station, love the covered terrace. Bagels are good but 10-15 CHF without sides feels a bit much. Service gets slow when it's packed, which is pretty much always 😅

Right across from the station, easy to find. The Matar Paneer was decent, felt like home cooking. Staff were friendly enough.

Been coming here for a while now. Burgers are consistently solid and the pie's always good. Nice mix of locals and tourists too. Pool table's a bonus.

The fried fish wasn’t even on the menu but they made it for us anyway—perfect for sharing. Thai milk tea was a nice bonus. Cozy enough, though the seats weren’t super comfy.

Loved the breakfast here — right in the middle of everything. Staff were super friendly too.

Stopped by for lunch, grabbed a seat right by the lake. View was the real deal. Food was solid, nothing crazy but tasty. Staff were nice enough. Lots of families around, so it's got that casual vibe. Prices felt a bit high for what you get, but the location kinda makes up for it.

Nice spot by the water, Federica took good care of us. Prices felt fair for Switzerland. Food was solid, nothing crazy but enjoyable.

Came here with a big group and they had everything sorted before we even sat down. Food came out exactly as we ordered. Solid spot if you're organizing something with lots of people.

Stopped by for a morning coffee. Place is small but has that quiet charm, easy to just sit and watch the street. Had a cappuccino, decent strength, not burnt. Maybe a bit slow on the service, but I wasn't in a rush. Fine spot if you want a low-key break.

Stopped in to dodge the rain and it turned out to be a solid call. The pizza speciale with garlic was generous—one slice and I was done for the day. Cozy spot, service was friendly. Pair it with a decent red, and you're set.

Lovely little place by the river. The spinach ravioli was rich and tasty, exactly what I needed. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

The shrimp pasta was the standout. Plenty of garlic, decent amount of shrimp, sauce clung to the noodles right. I didn't pay much attention to the view or the room. Just ate. Maybe slightly overpriced for what it is, but the flavor made up for it. I'd order that dish again.

The beef tartare really stood out—clean, sharp, well-seasoned. Service had that warm, easy vibe that makes you want to linger a bit longer. Nothing fancy, just genuinely attentive. I’d come back for that dish alone. Maybe slightly busy for a Tuesday, but it didn’t take away from the meal.

The buffet spread here is pretty solid—noodles, seafood, beef, bamboo sprouts, all cooked fresh on the plancha. I mostly stuck to the grilled stuff, which was decent. Price felt fair for what you get, though I wish they'd label the dishes better. Took me a while to figure out what was what 😅

The seafood risotto was loaded with squid, clams, mussels, and scallops. Seasoning was spot on, not too salty. Lasagna was rich and meaty too. Best meal I had in Thun.

The Dimtu medium roast really stood out—rich and aromatic, more character than the house blend. Calm spot, easy to sit and sip for a while. Would've liked a wine list to match, but the coffee alone was worth the stop.

Solid spot for Swiss food right in Thun's old town. Had the beef tartare with extra heat — pretty good. Terrace was nice for watching people go by. Service kept up fine even on a busy Saturday.

The pesto ravioli was fresh, no doubt. Carbonara came out creamy and properly salted. Didn't care much about the view upstairs, but the pasta did the talking.

The wine list here is seriously impressive — pages and pages of stuff I’d never heard of, but the staff knew exactly what to suggest. I had a glass of something local and it paired beautifully with the food. Cozy vibe, not too loud. Only tiny downside: I wished the bread came with a bit more olive oil.

The chef actually came out after our meal just to say hi—that never happens where I'm from. Service felt genuine, not scripted. Made the whole dinner feel a bit more personal, you know? Small touch, but it stuck with me.
