The lamb with truffle mash was spot on, really tender. Took a while to come out though. Nice view of the Gorch Fock while waiting, so that helped.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the local wheat beer — really solid choice. The place has that classic Hansa vibe, dark wood, kinda fancy but still relaxed. Food was decent, I had a traditional dish and it hit the spot. Menu’s got plenty of options if you’re into regional stuff. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but fine for the experience.

We stopped by for dinner and grabbed a table near the window. The lasagna was hearty, exactly what I needed after a long day. Portions are generous, no complaints there. Staff checked on us just enough, not too pushy. The Lambrusco was a nice touch with the cannelloni. Only small thing: it got a bit warm inside as the evening went on. Still, a comfortable spot to unwind.

Right on the harbor with outdoor seating—hard to beat that spot. Menu's limited and mains are pricey, but what we had was solid. Fine for a casual meal with a view.

The hot chocolate here is properly rich, not too sweet. Apple crumble was the highlight though—buttery topping, good amount of fruit. Service was friendly without hovering. Cozy spot for a quiet afternoon.

Stopped by for a drink while wandering the old town. Place was packed but they still squeezed us in. Staff took their time with us, no rush. Fine spot to just sit and watch people.

Food was solid, service friendly enough. Sat outside which was nice. Place itself feels a bit dated, but for the price I can't complain.

Solid lunch spot. Rotating soups keep it interesting, vegan options always there. Had the chili and veggie—both were good.

The waffles were properly homemade, not the frozen kind. Coffee hit the spot too. Place is small and cozy, dogs and kids both welcome which is nice. Gets loud when full though, could use some soundproofing. Still, solid spot for a lazy breakfast.

The Wallenstein platter is a beast. Ribs were good, though a bit burnt on the edges last time. Portions are huge, but prices went up a bit. Still a solid spot for a group.

The lamb platter came out fast, which I appreciated. Meat was cooked fine, but the cutlets were small for €30. Starter salad was just iceberg with dressing—nothing special. Waterfront spot is nice though. Drinks a bit steep. Quick bite if you're nearby, but don't expect a bargain.

The hazelnut cake was the standout. Dense, nutty, not too sweet. Coffee paired well with it. Price is on the higher side for the portion, but the taste makes up for it. I'd order that cake again.

The crème brûlée was the highlight—really well done. Service felt genuine and friendly, and they picked a nice wine to go with it. Solid spot for a nice dinner out.

Right on the old market square, view of the church is nice. Had the roast ribs, portion was huge. Service friendly enough. Solid spot for a meal.

Big slices of cake and a coffee for a fair price. Sat on the side street, nice and quiet. Service was friendly, didn't feel rushed at all.

The duck was really good—cooked well and full of flavor. I also liked the spring rolls and prawn crackers as starters. Fresh ingredients, you could taste it. Nice spot if you're in the mood for something simple and satisfying. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

Food's decent, that's for sure. But man, the wait on a Saturday night was something else. We stood around for almost 40 minutes past our reservation time. It's clearly a popular neighborhood joint, so I get it. Just don't come starving if you're in a rush. The schnitzel itself was solid though, exactly what I wanted.

Small place, feels like sitting in someone's living room. Owner's got a personal way about him. Cozy enough to stay for another coffee.

Stumbled into this place looking for a quick bite and stayed way longer than planned. Cash only caught me off guard but whatever, the harbor view from the window seat was worth it. Had the fish and chips — proper crispy, not greasy. Bit smoky inside though, so maybe not ideal if you're sensitive to that.
