We came here for a quick dinner and honestly the food looked almost too pretty to eat 😅 Prices were super fair for what you get, especially for this area. I’d say it’s a solid pick if you want something a bit nicer without going overboard. Just maybe don’t come in a huge group, it’s pretty small inside.

Food was solid, portions generous for the price. Service friendly without being overbearing. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Meat dishes were solid, owner actually explained the pairings without rushing me. Took a bit longer than I hoped but worth it for a proper bite.

Prices are fair, food’s decent. The room has this quiet hum, not too loud, not dead. Felt like I could actually breathe between bites. Nothing fancy, but it worked for a random evening out. Maybe not a place I’d rave about, but I’d come back if I’m in the area.

The garden’s really pretty, and the tiramisu was a solid way to end the meal. Service was friendly enough, but if you’re vegetarian, the main options are pretty thin. I’m not a big meat eater, so that was a bit of a letdown. Still, for what we paid, the portions felt fair. Just wish there was one more veggie dish.

Tasting menu was solid — mostly local stuff, homemade or from nearby farms. Natural wine pairing worked well. Took a bit longer than expected, but worth it for a slow lunch.

Been coming here for years now. The portions are still huge, took half my plate home again. Staff switched between languages without missing a beat, always appreciate that. Place gets busy but the rustic vibe keeps it comfortable. Consistent, that's why I keep coming back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The grilled meat was decent, came out hot and juicy. Price felt fair for what you got. Staff tried their best with my English, no complaints there. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

The Ljubljanska steak was solid—good size, cooked properly. Staff were friendly and didn't keep me waiting. That's about all I needed for a quick dinner stop.

We ordered a few different dishes to share and everything came out at once, which was nice. The grilled vegetables were fresh, not overcooked. I liked that they had some lighter options on the menu. Portions were decent for the price. Maybe a bit busy for a Tuesday night, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and went for the grilled fish. Really fresh, flaky, no fishy smell at all. The family running it was friendly, made me feel comfortable eating alone. Only thing—menu didn't show prices, so I had to ask. A bit awkward but not a dealbreaker. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The gnocchi with black truffle was the reason I came back. Creamy, earthy, and actually tasted like truffle, not just oil. Portion was decent for the price. Service was fine, didn't really care about that part. If you're here for the food, get that dish. Nothing else on the menu really stood out to me.

Family-run place with real heart. The mixed seafood starter was fresh and well done. Waiter knew his wine pairings too. They even drove us back to our apartment after dinner — pretty unforgettable service.

Lovely little pastry spot on the edge of Lokev, cakes are light and tasty. Outdoor seating surrounded by greenery is a nice touch.

Lovely local restaurant. Food was excellent. The only problem we had was being able to access the online menu which was frustrating. The experience was greatly enhanced when we received a written menu and could then ask our server for food and wine recommendations. It’s a shame to only have the online menu as you lose the personal touch which makes the dining experience more pleasurable. Overall we very much enjoyed the food and ambience.

Outside tables next to the park fill quickly and a pretty quiet (away from walking street). Good range of wine/prices by bottle and food was flavorable

Our waiter, a Croat whose name I have forgotten, was absolutely wonderful. He moved us to an outside table in the shade and with a view of the harbor and hills when one became available. And he engaged us in friendly conversation. Beyond that, the food was excellent, particularly the mixed seafood risotto (requires two people to order). I'd happily return again and again just to have the risotto and some sparkling water (although the suggested wine was very good and not overcharged). Inside is nice but could get a bit noisy when there is a group having lunch.

Apart from providing an intersting and inventive tasting menu, and a great choice wines, with interaction with staff was excellent.

very good food and service. We went on a family dinner and had a good time. However, it's possible to get also very good food and service in other restaurants in the area for a bit lower price.

Lovely rustic spot, felt like a little piece of Tuscany. The open fireplace grill is so nice, it really warms up the whole room. Made for a very comfortable and relaxing dinner.

The zuppe de pesce was packed with calamari, mussels, clams, octopus, and scampi. The sauce was so good, I wanted to take it home for pasta.
