The cordon bleu was spot on&mdash;crispy outside, juicy inside. Paired it with a decent glass of red, worked well. Service friendly enough. Solid stop after a long hike.

Pizza was solid - good crust, quality toppings. The antipasti platter for one was plenty for two people. Service stayed friendly even when I called last minute for a table.

Decent pizza with a nice view of the castle. Owner was friendly and spoke a few languages, which helped. My husband said the gluten-free crust was the best he&#39;s had&mdash;soft, not dry. Cappuccino was fine as well. Only downside, it got a bit busy around noon. Still, pretty good stop.

Stopped by for lunch after the castle visit. The Thai coconut chicken curry was pretty good, fried rice decent too. Parking right nearby was easy.

The owner was super friendly and chatted with us a bit. Food tasted proper home-style Chinese, not the usual greasy takeout stuff. Portions are decent for the price.

The view of the castle from outside is the whole reason to come. Inside is meh, service was hit or miss.

Beautiful location overlooking the 2 castles. We ate in the conservatory on a very  rainy  evening  but it didn&#39;t  spoil the atmosphere. The staff are charming and the food was delicious. We didn&#39;t feel rushed even though  the restaurant  was busy. It felt like a special and memorable occasion.

Service was quick and friendly even though the place was packed. Our waiter actually took time to explain the menu, which I appreciated. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

The room was huge and the patio looked right at the castle&mdash;such a cool view. Breakfast did the job, nothing crazy but solid. Staff were nice too.

Lovely little caf&eacute; with really nice homemade cakes 🍰 The interior is so cozy, staff were friendly too. Just wish I had more time to sit and enjoy the vibe longer.

Stopped here on the bike ride up to the castle. Cold German beer and a shady spot outside&mdash;just what I needed. Didn&#39;t eat, but the menu looked alright.

Amazing high quality food and impeccable service. We had a burger and the ribs and it was so good. Really good value for money and  location is brilliant too. Highly recommend!

Loved the live accordion music on our second visit. Leoni took good care of us. Schnitzel was solid, though the dumplings could&#39;ve been warmer. Classic Bavarian spot.

The breakfast buffet had enough options &mdash; eggs, pastries, some fruit. Scrambled eggs were decent, made fresh when you asked. Room itself was fine, clean, bed okay. What stood out to me was the hairdryer, actually. Properly strong one, not those weak hotel ones. Small thing, but I noticed.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Tapas were solid, well-prepared, and came out at a good pace. Staff knew the menu and gave a decent wine pick without overselling. Place has a relaxed vibe, easy to talk over. Bill was a bit higher than expected, but the quality holds up. Fine if you&#39;re after something reliable in the area.

Nice little spot for tea. Had the cream tea, scones were proper. Not easy to find that around here. Place is small, bit cramped but fine. Homemade cakes looked good too, didn&#39;t try. Just tea and scones. Enough for me.

The food was fresh and tasty, and our server was really attentive without hovering. The beer garden is lovely when the sun&#39;s out. Just mind the flies in summer&mdash;they&#39;re a bit annoying.

The conservatory area is really nice, lots of natural light and space. Our daughter had fun with the toys while we waited for the cheese spaetzle. Food was solid, nothing fancy but good.

Stopped by for dinner and ended up lingering over a glass of their house red. The wine list is small but thoughtfully picked, which I always appreciate. Had the schnitzel&mdash;solid, nothing fancy. The homemade cake with coffee afterward was the real highlight. Place has that lived-in, family-run feel. Service a bit slow, but we weren&#39;t in a rush.

The steak sandwich with fries was so good I kept eating even after I was full. Staff came by a lot to check in&mdash;maybe a bit much, but the vibe was nice.

The pork steak with potato dumplings and red cabbage was exactly what I needed. Comforting, simple, well made. You can tell they care about the cooking here. Family-run spot, nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself. I&rsquo;d go back just for that dish again.
