Service was so warm and attentive, really made the evening. The food was lovely too, but it was the staff that stood out. They were just present, but not hovering.

Midweek carvery deal is a steal. Huge portions, especially the roast beef. Fills you up without emptying the wallet. Solid choice for a quick, filling meal.

Popped in for a pre-match meal before the rugby. It was packed, buzzing with a good crowd. The steak was cooked just right, but the chips were a bit lukewarm. Still, a solid spot for the location.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the garlic bread was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a great meal.

The last-minute wedding reception was flawless, and the food was incredible.

The coffee is really good, and I love that they always give you a little cookie with it. Nice to see gluten-free and veggie options on the menu too.

Been coming here for years, and the food is always spot on. I popped in for a quick lunch today and it was just as good as ever. The staff are really friendly, which makes it a nice, relaxed place to eat.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie breakfast is still my go-to. Those sausages are spot on every time. Appreciate that they’ll still sort it out for me if I’m running a bit late.

The lady who greeted us was so helpful with the menu. All five courses tasted incredibly fresh, you could tell the ingredients were just-picked.

Sunday carvery delivered early, still piping hot. Good portion for the price. The gravy was a bit thin, but the wine I had at home paired nicely with the roast beef. Solid option for a lazy Sunday.

The chicken was so tender it fell apart, and the sauces had this lovely depth. Really hit the spot. Just a bit on the pricey side for what it was, but I left feeling properly satisfied.

The indoor bowls here are top-notch. Came to watch a tournament and it was a really pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Grabbed a pint and a bite from the on-site cafe, which was handy.

The show was good, but the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price.

The drinks are always perfectly chilled, which is a nice touch. Steph and Wojtek are really friendly.

Solid iced caramel latte, not watered down. The baguette was a great quick bite, packed with bacon and cranberry sauce.

The black bean beef was spot on, really fresh. Had a lovely glass of red with it that cut through the richness nicely. The place has a good, relaxed vibe.

Their weekend tapas are a treat. The patatas bravas and white bean stew were generous and full of flavour. The house red was a robust Rioja that stood up nicely to the stew's richness. A solid pairing.

Upstairs brasserie is the move. The duck confit was spot on — crispy skin, tender meat, and the jus was just right. A nice step up from the cafe vibe downstairs.

Been here a few times now. What keeps me coming back is the guide's storytelling - the way he explains the history of the place just pulls you in. It never gets old.

The full English breakfast is the one to get. Properly cooked bacon, not too greasy, and the black pudding is actually good. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry. The beans could be a bit warmer sometimes, but that's a minor thing.

The coffee here is really good. Full-bodied, not bitter at all. The cakes are the highlight though. Had a slice of carrot cake that was perfectly moist, with just the right amount of frosting. Could taste the spices.

The old dock location is lovely. The smokehouse menu had some nice gluten-free choices for our group.
