Tried the 4-course menu, price was fair for what you get. Waiter actually remembered we wanted extra bread and picked a decent wine to go with it. Chef made a special dessert for my wife since she can't do dairy. Nice touch, didn't expect that. Place was a bit busy but we didn't wait long. Solid spot.

Lovely spot in Horst. You can tell they really care about the ingredients, everything tasted fresh. Staff knew their menu well and seemed genuinely into it.

Had the three course surprise share menu. The food was phenomenal. If we lived here, we would go back. Each course consists of five small (bites) entrees. Delicious.

Nice wine list, and the staff actually knew how to pair things with our food. Cozy lighting inside, easy parking out back. Only wish they'd had a couple more options by the glass.

The surprise menu here is a proper little adventure, five courses and you genuinely don't know what's coming next. Hosts make you feel properly looked after, like you've just popped round to someone's house. Only thing is the chairs got a bit hard by the end, but the food kept me distracted. Worth stopping by if you're in Roermond.

`Nashville chicken chunks` and `Asian beef roll` were amazing—incredibly tasty! Will absolutely eat there again. The prices are also very nice.

Stopped by for a coffee and cake—the cake was really good, not too sweet. Coffee was solid too. Place has a nice vibe, pretty chill for a quick break. Wish I had more time to sit around honestly.

The staff were lovely, really attentive. Food was okay, not quite what I hoped for. But the wine list saved the evening—decent pours at fair prices.

Lovely terrace with real shade, that made the difference on a warm day. Food was refined, French-inspired but not fussy. Staff knew their menu well. Just wish the portions were a bit more generous.

Lovely welcome and the plancha was really good. Tomato soup hit the spot too. Sandwiches were fresh, decent size for the price.

Food was decent, but we waited quite a while for it to come out. The playground nearby is a nice touch though, keeps the kids busy.

The lunch menu had some creative seafood and venison dishes. I went for the venison—cooked nicely, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. The industrial decor with the classy touches was easy on the eyes. Service was friendly, knew the menu well. Would come back for the seafood next time.

The goat cheese salad was really good, and I liked that the desserts aren’t overly fancy. Fries are worth ordering. Service was friendly and the seating comfortable, which made it easy to relax.

Came here for a quick bite with a friend and the staff were really friendly. Nothing fancy on the menu but honestly that’s what I liked about it. Simple and just right for a chill catch-up 😊

My husband and I came for a romantic dinner. We are from Florida and are living nearby for the summer. The waiter was amazing and so kind. The chef came to the table to thank us for coming. Every bite was fresh, creative, and delicious!

The Hertog Jan on tap was spot on, and the spare ribs went well with it. Cozy spot, though the service was a bit slow when it got busy.

Solid spot for a quick bite. Spare ribs were good, just wish they came with more heat. Asked for extra spice and that did the trick. Service was fast, no complaints.

The green toast was solid, avocado fresh but could’ve used a pinch more salt. Kids’ play corner kept my little ones busy while we finished our coffee. Cozy spot, nothing fancy but does the job.

Sushi and sashimi were fresh, that’s the main thing. All-you-can-eat with drinks included, price is fair for what you get. Variety’s decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid. I’d come back just for the salmon. Maybe not the best tuna I’ve had, but fine for the price.

I love this place. It has lovely cakes, coffee and service. Today I also had a soup (spicy carrot) and bread and dips to go with it - lekker lekker! The staff are always very helpful and friendly too!

We’ve eaten here a few times now. The food is pretty good—dishes are well thought out, not too fussy. Last visit I had the duck, it was cooked just right. Service was fine, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening. Decent spot if you’re in the area.

Staff were friendly and efficient—even noticed I could use a few more fries. Nice touch, nothing over the top. Decent spot for a casual bite.

The lobster menu was absolutely thrilling! The quality and refinement of the dishes were top-notch, making for a truly memorable dining experience.

The lunchroom itself is pretty cozy, which I liked. Even though it was busy, we got our food fast. Staff were friendly too, not rushing us at all. I had a good meal there, nothing fancy but solid. Maybe a bit warm inside, but that's a small thing. Would sit by the window next time.

Decent spot with a good menu, plenty of gluten-free options too. Liked that they offer smaller portions, handy if you want to try a few things. Pretty good overall.

We had a super nice evening in Kasteel Eyckholt! Many thanks to Souad for the great service! The food was excellent and varied. We were there as a couple and had ordered a 5-course menu. This is also a very good Eventlocation!

super goed alles .................................................................................................................................

Nice terrace right across the river, away from the busy streets. Cold beer and decent food. Quick service too, which I always appreciate.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Souvlaki was properly grilled, decent portion for the price. Staff didn't hover but checked in at the right moments. Place gets busy around 7, so come earlier if you want a quiet table. Solid option if you're in the area and want Greek without the fuss.

Stumbled in late and grabbed a steak. Cooked properly, no complaints. Fast enough for a quick dinner stop. Solid spot if you're in the area.
