The gluten-free fish and chips were spot on. Really good batter and the fish was lovely and flaky.

Love the classic pub feel here. It can get a bit loud when it's packed, but that's just the vibe. The courtyard out back is a lovely spot to settle in. Found it very comfortable for a relaxed meal.

We pop in for breakfast whenever we're in town. The fried bread is honestly the best – so light and crisp. The staff are always so welcoming, which makes the whole visit feel really easy and relaxed. A lovely spot.

The vegan pasty was a nice surprise! Flaky pastry, and the filling had a good mix of textures. They had a few other dairy-free options too, which was handy.

The full English was spot on, and the buffet had loads of options. Best part? My plate was still steaming when I sat down. 😊

The John Dory on the specials menu was the standout. Fish is incredibly fresh, locally caught. That one was cooked just right, skin crisp, flesh flaky. The rest of the specials looked good too.

Got the Trader Sexy Wedges, they're as good as everyone says. Hot, generous portion. Staff were really nice even though we called last minute on a Friday.

Great spot for a casual bite. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, flaky cod, proper chips. My other half's prawn sandwich looked good too. Staff were friendly, and they're very welcoming to dogs.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The outdoor area is perfect for bringing the dog. Staff were attentive and even gave him a treat. Food was decent, service was prompt. Good for a casual meal.

Staff were super friendly. Had a table outside with my dog. Cozy spot, lots of seating options inside and out. Good for bringing the pup. 👍

Nice spot for a quick bite. They're dog-friendly, which is a plus for us. Even had a treat for our pup. Makes it easy to grab lunch with the whole crew.

The crab sandwich is a solid choice for lunch. Fresh, generous filling, and perfect to grab and eat by the water. I paired it with a crisp local lager, which really hit the spot. A bit pricey for a sandwich, but you're paying for the location.

Been coming here for years, and those mussels are the reason. The sauce is always spot on, perfect for dipping bread. The crab pancake is a close second. Just a solid, reliable spot for small plates.

The Sunday roast beef was spot on, and the veg was fresh and plentiful. The horseradish sauce really made it. For the price, the portion size was very fair.

The Sunday roast is a proper feast, loads of food and cooked just right. The service was spot on too, they didn't rush us between courses which was perfect for a long catch-up with the girls. A solid choice for a lazy Sunday.

Even on a packed night, the staff still took the time to chat and make everyone feel welcome. Really nice touch.

Had Sunday dinner here. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the service from Shannon was excellent. Good price, and they even offer a lift up to the restaurant if you're unsteady on your feet. Brilliant!

Great spot for a family afternoon out. The beer garden is lovely, and the kids had a blast in the play area. Very relaxed vibe.

Attentive staff, even offered takeaway boxes for leftovers.

The cake was moist and not too sweet. A nice spot for a coffee break, and they're very dog-friendly.

Great fish and chips after a walk from the campsite. The local beer selection was a nice surprise!

The staff were so kind even during the rush. They remembered I asked about dairy-free options and checked with the kitchen for me. Really made the visit feel personal.

Great spot for craft beer. Solid selection of local ales on tap. Had a quick pint with a burger during lunch. Service was fast, got me in and out in under 30 mins. Perfect for a quick bite.

Interesting menu with a focus on local ingredients. The specials, especially the fish, looked great. My sea bass was incredibly fresh, you could really taste it. The portion felt a bit small for the price, but the quality was there.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Burgers are solid - tried the Angry Dog and the lamb one. Both cooked just right, no waiting around. Portions are decent too. Got in and out fast.

Just had a fantastic Indian meal here. The butter chicken was spot on, rich and creamy. Even the naan was fresh and piping hot. A bit on the pricier side, but you can taste the quality. Will be back for sure.
