The chef came out to explain each dish himself&mdash;you can tell he actually cares about the food. Wine pairings were spot on too. Pricey, but for that level of detail it felt fair.

Came for coffee, stayed for the rivierkreeft roll. That thing was solid. House bread&#39;s really good too, but man, it ain&#39;t cheap.

The fish and chips were proper good, sitting right by the water. Pub felt authentically Dutch, though the service was a bit slow. Still, that view made up for it.

The Chicken BLT sandwich was the highlight. Generous portion, decent bread, bacon actually crispy. Staff fine, whatever. Just get the sandwich.

Great location right on the beach, view over the water is lovely. Chicken was really tender and the portion size surprised me. Service friendly enough. Nice spot to just sit with a drink.

The basement dining room is genuinely cozy &mdash; low lighting, warm wood, that kind of tucked-away feel. Food was solid and nicely plated, service kept up even when it got busy. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, so you&rsquo;re basically part of your neighbor&rsquo;s conversation. Still, I&rsquo;d sit down there again.

The menu changes with the seasons, which I liked. Portions were decent for the price, though not huge. Felt like proper Sardinian food, not the usual tourist stuff.

My husband and I came to your wonderful restaurant yesterday evening with friends. This is the second time that we have visited Restaurant Johannes. I absolutely loved the flavors here! The curries were rich and well-spiced, and the variety of vegetarian options was impressive. I can&#39;t wait to return and try more dishes.

The 7-course tasting menu was solid, the wine pairing matched well. Only thing is the seating felt a bit cramped, not ideal for a long dinner.
