Tried a bunch of their small plates. The grilled octopus was spot on, really tender. The wine list had some interesting local picks, went well with the food. A bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes, but enjoyed it.

Came for the food, stayed for the food. Ended up eating here three days straight. The grilled lamb chops were the standout – perfectly charred on the outside, still juicy inside. Just the right amount of rosemary and garlic. That’s what kept me coming back.

Decent little kiosk for a quick stop. The cakes and ice cream were good. Had a coffee and a slice of carrot cake while waiting for my train. Service was prompt, which was appreciated. Prices are reasonable for the location.

The scampi was so fresh and light, not greasy at all. The batter was crisp, and the prawns inside were plump and sweet. Really appreciated that it didn't feel heavy. A lovely, simple dish done right.

The gluten-free menu was a nice surprise. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. My pasta dish felt so fresh and light.

The cocktails are the real draw here. Tried the mezcal-based one, and the balance was spot on. Nice selection, too. Could do with a few more non-alcoholic options, but overall a solid choice for a drink.

Decent veggie options, which is a plus. The decor's quirky, service was friendly. Food came out fast and hot, no complaints there.

First time here and I'm sold. The grilled octopus was spot on, and the staff knew their wine list. Suggested a crisp white that cut right through the richness. Atmosphere was relaxed, a bit dim for my liking, but that's a minor thing.

First time here and they were so lovely with my dog. Gave him a water bowl and a little treat. Makes a big difference when you're out with your furry friend.

Been coming here for years and the light lunch seafood platter is always spot on. Fresh, generous portion, never disappoints. That's why I keep coming back.

I've been coming here for years, love the traditional feel. The food is always hot and decent, but I really appreciate how fresh the vegetables are in their dishes. You can tell they use good ingredients.

The coffee here is pretty good. I like that you can sit inside or out. It's a decent spot for a quiet morning. The atmosphere is pleasant, though it did get a bit busy later on.

The fish and chips here are spot on. The batter is light and crisp, the chips are proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. A solid portion too. Exactly what you want after a walk.

The ciabattas here were pretty good, with a decent amount of filling. The family running the place are very nice. It's a fine spot for a quick, simple lunch.

Came here after work and it was already packed. Got a seat at the bar. Ordered the chicken katsu curry. The portion was massive, honestly could have shared it. Good for the price.

Great view from our table. Coffee was spot on, and the chocolate twist pastry was homemade. Really nice.

They were still so friendly even though we arrived near closing time. Didn't feel rushed at all. That kind of patience is really appreciated.

Scampi and chips. Busy day, but worth the wait. The batter was really light, not greasy at all. Chips were proper.

Been coming here for years. The portions are always generous, and the food tastes fresh. That's what keeps me coming back. Staff are friendly too.

Loved the vibe here. It's a cozy spot with a nautical theme, but they've added these cool modern touches that just work. Felt clean and really well put together.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but never hovered. Just the right level of service, which let the food be the main focus.

Booked ahead for an outdoor table in summer - definitely needed. Menu had a solid range of drinks and food. I was surprised how busy it was for a hotel restaurant, lots of locals too. My fish was fresh, but the portion felt a bit on the small side.

Came here for a catch-up with the girls. The space is lovely and airy, perfect for a long chat without feeling cramped. We shared a bottle from their wine list and just lost track of time. The decor is really tasteful too.

The steak was cooked just right, medium-rare with a good sear. Juicy and flavourful, exactly what you want. The peppercorn sauce had a nice kick to it. A solid dish.

First time here and I was really impressed with their allergen menu. My salad was clearly marked for nuts and dairy - felt totally safe ordering.

Set menu is decent value. Food was fine, but portions are a bit small across the board. The atmosphere was pleasant until a loud argument broke out in the kitchen, which was distracting.

The curries and pasta are genuinely good. But the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. I left feeling like I needed a snack later.
