My husband and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff member who was looking after us was lovely. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It&#39;s cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. My only concern was the distance to the disabled toilet. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience

Been chasing a proper fish and chips for ages. The fish was beautifully flaky, and the beer batter had that perfect crunch. The chips were spot on. What really made it for me was the house ale they suggested - cut right through the richness. Solid value midweek.

Came for a quiet dinner, ended up in a full-on party after 9pm! Music was loud, people started dancing between tables. Not what I expected on a Tuesday, but the energy was infectious. Food was decent, but the vibe totally took over.
